Working hard for Dunfermline South all year round Learn more

Recently there has been a temporary closure of the out of hours GP service at the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline. There have been concerns raised that this could potentially become permanent and I share these concerns. Having had to use the service before, as well as being in full knowledge that the Queen Margaret already has lost its A&E Department, I do not want Dunfermline to once again face the effects of health centralisation.
I will be keeping a close eye on this issue and will be happy to discuss it with any concerned constituents. If need be I will also campaign against any permanent withdrawal of out of hours GP services locally over the coming months.
