At the most recent Full Council meeting, councillors unanimously agreed to award the Freedom of the City of Dunfermline to the peacocks.

During the meeting I spoke to welcome both the cross-party consensus on this as well as the love that many have for the peacocks. I am delighted that the honour was given and there will be a ceremony to mark this in the future.
