Middlebank Holdings at the edge of Dunfermline was originally scheduled to have Superfast broadband installed by June 2022 as part of the R100 programme, but it has transpired that this has now been delayed by two years to June 2022. Liberal Democrat Councillor for Dunfermline South James Calder is angry about the delays.

Councillor Calder has said,

Superfast broadband is extremely important local infrastructure, and it is extremely disappointing that residents at the edge of Dunfermline are facing big delays to the roll out.

When commitments are made they should be met, and I am demanding that there are no further delays to the rollout.
