After being contacted about the fact that the John Marshall Community Centre outside lights were not working, Councillor James Calder arranged for the Council to fix this so that it is now lit up at night.

James Calder has said,

It was brought to my attention that as winter has been approaching, the John Marshall Community Centre was shrouded in darkness as the outside lights were not working. As a result of this I got in touch with the Council and the lights are now working. This will obviously be a health and safety benefit for all users of the centre in evenings.
