At the City of Dunfermline Area Committee, after Liberal Democrat Councillor James Calder asked, it was confirmed that resurfacing will be taking place within the next few months on pavements along Pitcorthie Drive.

James Calder welcomed this, saying,

Residents in Pitcorthie have been understandably frustrated at crumbling pavements for many years which I have been consistently raising to the Council.

I am pleased we got agreement to resurface these pavements at the Area Roads Programme and now it has been confirmed the work will be taking place shortly.

Residents will be pleased that this much-needed work will take place soon and I look forward to better pavements in the area.”
