After recent weather issues, a tree that had collapsed along the path between Carnegie Avenue and Pitreavie Golf Club was reported to Liberal Democrat Councillor James Calder by a local member of the public. The tree that was effectively blocking the path has now been removed by the Council.

James Calder said,

I’ve had trees along this path reported before and after recent bad weather a tree had collapsed and was partially blocking this path.

I’m pleased that after I reported to this to Grounds Maintenance team a few days ago they have acted so quickly to get it removed.

I want to thank both the Grounds Maintenance team and the local member of the public who reported this which is helping ensure this path is accessible to all.
