On Wednesday I had the honour of being able to unveil the official City of Dunfermline Tartan at a ceremony celebrating our first year of City Status.

I was part of a panel that chose the tartan from a competition that was completed by third year school pupils in Dunfermline in their art classes.

It was a very difficult choice as there were many excellent tartans designed but I hope that the people of Dunfermline will be able to enjoy our new tartan.

It should be available to hire as a kilt from the Kilt Shop on Guildhall Street in the near future!
