Working hard for Dunfermline South all year round Learn more

Over the past month residents near the burn in Pitcorthie have had to endure a foul odour. After Dunfermline South Liberal Democrat Councillor James Calder raised this to the Council and Scottish Water, there is still no solution in site.
Cllr. Calder has said,
Leave a commentIt is taking unacceptably long for the Council and Scottish Water to deal with the odour issue. After testing of the water it appears to be sewage waste causing the issue and this should be a priority to deal with for public health grounds.
Unfortunately there is no end immediately on site and residents continue to have to put up with this. Coupled with reported issues with rats in the area, it should be dealt with as soon as possible and I will continue to press for a quick resolution.
