At the most recent Dunfermline and West Fife Sports Council meeting, which I sit on as one of the Councillor represenatives, a number of interesting issues were discussed and some positive action is being taken forward.

One of the recent decisions was to grant funding for Abbeyview Bowling Club to get a chair for wheelchair users to do bowling. I personally thought this was an excellent item for funding application for a club that does a lot for the local community.

There was also discussion of come and try events for clubs and providing funding for Facebook adverts to help encourage more people to take up sports.
