After being told at a public meeting last week that Abbeyview would not receive funding for a new Community Centre, this decision was reversed by Fife Council.
There was a clear public outcry at the event that there would be no application for funding from the Scottish Government for Abbeyview but instead just Templehall. However after the event Fife Council changed its tune and is going to apply for funding for both.
I am delighted at this outcome but will also keep pressing the Council to provide a resolution after the Community has had to wait so long.
