A few months ago a concerned local resident raised the issue of Openreach vans parking on an area of grass verge on Aberdour Road near the Tesco Metro. They also provided details of the drivers who were doing this.

As a result of this I have raised the issue with Openreach who have taken a very positive approach to dealing with the issue. They have assured me that drivers have been told not do this in the future and spoken to the drivers who were reported by the resident. I can also mention that they have now undertaken repairs on the area of grass verge that was damaged by their drivers. This should ensure that this area looks tidier, and hopefully there will no longer be any incidences of this happening. However if anyone does see it happen again please let me know.
