The levels of snow in Dunfermline and Fife are obviously very high, and like most people I am avoiding going out right now. It goes without saying that I recommend everyone to keep an eye on Met Office information about this, avoid unnecessary journeys and keep safe. For vulnerable people including the elderly please keep warm.
I would also like to pay tribute to the Council teams who are battling the elements to try and keep the roads clear. They are doing a great job under very difficulty circumstances and I have seen them out in force today.
