Supply teachers in Fife and across Scotland are to be compensated for a loss of earnings due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Leave a commentLike so many people, supply teachers out of no fault of their own have suddenly had a major loss of earnings due to the current devastating pandemic. With schools closed down and not being eligible for the furlough scheme, this was potentially devastating for many supply teachers.
I am pleased agreement has been made to ensure supply teachers will be compensated. This will ensure that during this difficult time they will continue to receive the payment they would have normally expected to have had and ensure they stay financially afloat.
