Today’s visit to Amazon was very positive. Over the past year a number of constituents have raised issues regarding lorries driving through residential areas and parking in inappropriate areas.

However Amazon are taking these issues seriously and proactively. They informed me they have arranged for winter parking in Pitreavie as well as road signs to redirect lorries to the motorway rather than through residential estates. They will also maintain dialogue with hauliers to encourage them to avoid disturbing local residents.

In the meantime I will continue to maintain dialogue with Amazon regarding lorries.
