Report of West Fife Common Good Fund Sub-Committee Meeting 13/12/17

by jamescalder on 13 December, 2017

Earlier today we had a meeting of the West Fife Common Good Sub-Committee. At today’s meeting the main matter discussed was the upgrading of the City Centre Wi-Fi in Dunfermline. The application was made by Dunfermline Delivers.

I was pleased to see unanimous support for the proposal to allocate Common Good Funding to support this. It will have benefits for shoppers, tourists and the wider community, as well as providing a boost to local businesses by making the centre of Dunfermline a modern place to visit.

In the New Year we should expect a number of further Common Good applications to come through.
